Start with a task you can evaluate
Test additions, a bounded refactor, or codebase investigation can be candidates for a first pilot. We choose work with a clear output and observable checks, then compare the result with the team's existing workflow.
Agree on access and data handling
Before any tool receives client code or data, we agree on approved tools, account settings, and access limits. Production credentials and sensitive customer data stay outside the workflow unless explicitly authorized and appropriate controls are in place.
Keep review and release explicit
The pilot defines the tests, static checks, and review needed for the selected task. Engineers review the changes and decide what merges. Deployment follows the team's existing authorization process.
Measure the whole task
A useful comparison includes elapsed delivery time, human review effort, rework, and defects. Generating code quickly is only one part of that picture. The pilot ends with a recommendation to expand, adjust, or stop the workflow.
What an engagement can deliver
Depending on scope: a readiness assessment, one implemented pilot, documented workflow and access rules, and a team walkthrough. We agree the pilot boundary and price before implementation.
